(Distance contract)
1. General provisions
These provisions apply to painting classes, master classes, and creative events offered by Mākslas Pietura (hereinafter referred to as the Studio).
By registering or making a payment, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Registration and prepayment
2.1. Registration for classes, masterclasses or events is considered confirmed after agreement with the Studio.
2.2. In order to reserve a specific date and time, the Studio has the right to request partial or full prepayment.
2.3. Prepayment serves as confirmation of the reservation.
3. Transfer rules
3.1. The client may transfer a class, master class, or event by notifying the Studio no later than 48 hours before the event.
3.2. If the rescheduling is notified within the specified time limit, the prepayment made will be transferred to another mutually agreed date.
3.3. If the information about the postponement is provided later than 48 hours before the event, the prepayment will not be refunded, as it covers the costs of reservation and preparation.
3.4. Postponement is only possible on available dates, in agreement with the Studio.
4. Changes in the number of participants
4.1. The client shall inform the Studio of any changes in the number of participants no later than 24 hours before the event.
4.2. If the changes are not notified within the specified time limit, the fee shall be calculated based on the number of participants originally registered.
5. No-shows
If a participant does not show up for a class or event, the amount paid will not be refunded, as it covers preparation and reservation costs.
6. Studio rights
The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class, master class, or event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness of the instructor or force majeure), offering:
another date for the event, or
a refund of the amount paid.
7. Distance contract
7.1. This contract is concluded between Mākslas Pieturs (hereinafter referred to as the Seller) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer) who orders the service remotely via the website or electronic means of communication.
7.2. The Seller undertakes to provide the Buyer with the ordered service in accordance with the terms and conditions of the application.
7.3. The Buyer places an order by selecting a service and making payment:
using the payment tools available on the website, or
by paying the electronic invoice issued by the Seller.
7.4. The electronic invoice is valid without a signature.
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1. In accordance with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from a remotely purchased service within 14 days of the purchase if the provision of the service has not yet commenced.
8.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send a written notice to the Seller. The Seller shall provide a withdrawal form at the Buyer's request.
8.3. The right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to a specific date or period of time, such as classes, master classes, or creative events.
